Music Is Art 2005
On Saturday I only saw Diseal and Klear. Diseal is a rapper. I thought he was really good. To be honest with you, I didn't think we had any hip hop music here in Buffalo, NY because no one ever makes a big deal about it as much as they do other kinds of music around here. Klear did an awesome job. I'm proud of A.D. He has come along was in the short amount of time he has been with Klear. I talk to them after and got my thing signed that had their picture on it. I left right after talking to them because there was no one else on that I cared about and it was way to hot for me.
On Sunday I went to see Milkfat, Seven Day Faith, The Velmas, Agent Me, Lance Diamond, and Robby Takac. Milkfat was another rapper. He had a DJ with him and they are really good. I might have to check them out again. I was waiting for the guys from Milkfat to come out and Robby walked past me and I poked him in the arm so I can get his attention to say HI to him. Then he turned around and he was going to shake my hand but he realized it was me and gavme me a hug instead. Seven Day Faith did an awesome job like they always do. The guy that was video taping the thing started talking to me cause he noticed I had my SDF shirt on and he told me that SDF is the greatest band from here. The Velmas were really good. I heard their music online because I talk to Mike (the lead singer) on myspace but it sounds so much better live. The Velmas are really good. Agent me did an awesome job. I love them so much (not that way). They are a really great band. After Agent Me was done I went up to Mike and introduced myself to him. It was really nice to meet him. I was waiting for Rob Bilson from Seven Day Faith to come out and I saw Robby again so I asked him to sign the picture I took with him last time I saw him. He did that for me and gave me a hug. While he was giving me a hug he goes, "You're alright kid" to me. I love Robby so much. He is so down to earth and never let the fame get to him. I took a picture with Miyoko (Robby's wife) and her friend. Miyoko is real sweet. While I was standing by the stage Rob Bilson, Rob Burigo, and John came out. There were other people that wanted to talk to them but Rob Bilson came to me first. I gave him a hug and said Happy Birthday to him. I gave him the poster I made for him. Lance Diamond did a great job. I really enjoy watching him play. My friends and I were standing in front of the wrong stage to watch Robby so I went to the other stage to see Robby. Robby played with the West Senceca West Middle School marching band. He did a really great job. I love watching Robby perform because you can see that he really loves it.
The whole Music Is Art Festival was fun. Robby makes it bigger and better every year. He really out did himself this year. I can't wait to see what he comes up with for next year.
