A New Band To Add To The List

3-3-05
Canisius College

I left my house early because I knew I was going to have a hard time finding the building. I'm glad that I did because I got there just in time. When I got there Scott just started an interview with his brother who goes to Canisius College.

The Corrections did an awesome job. They did an acoustic set. Tim played the panio for a couple of songs which was kind of different. To bad Rob wasn't there to do that. Oh well, nothing can be done about that.

Next up was 2 Skinny Dorks. This was my first time seeing them. They are real talented and I can see them making it far. It will defenitly be worth me taking a trip down to Ohio to see them. I'll probably do that after I get back from Georiga. Check them out at http://www.2sd.com
The lead singer, Jake Blazer, is real nice and he is Gavin DeGraw fan which is a plus. I went to see Gavin in Cleveland at the end of May and he said that he was at that show. I think that's cool that he was there. Gavin is the best.

The last act to play was Scott Celani. He had someone playing the panio and another person playing the acoustic guitar. Then there was Andy Mac and Adam too. He had the extra stuff because he recorded his set for a C.D. I can't wait to get that.

After the show I talked to Scott and Jake for a few mintues. Scott told Jake that I was the #1 supporter of local music....that made me happy....when people say stuff like that it makes everything I do worth it. We talked about me going to Ohio to see them and we talked about Gavin DeGraw too.

Guillermo, sorry I didn't say bye to you...I don't know why I didn't cause you were standing right next to me. Thanks for the Bread Gone Wry C.D. I didn't have a chance to listen to it yet but I will today.

It was a great night full of great music. I can't wait to see all three bands again.
