My Michael Tolcher Roadtrip to Atlanta, GA
My Trip To Atlanta, GA
2-18-05 to 2-22-05
Michael played at The Roxy
I made it to Georiga even thought I didn't think I would make it. The bus ride was so long. I just kept telling myself seeing Michael again will be worth it.
When I finally made it to Atlanta I found my way to the hotel. When I got to the hotel and checked in I slept on and off until 5:00. Then I got ready to go and then I was off to the show.
When I got to the Roxy I called Rory but there was a message that I didn't get that said to be there eailer then a half hour so I sold the merchandise after the show which means I got to watch the show.
The show was real amazing. He had alot of engery on stage. That alone was fun to watch. He did "The Sun Song" which is my favorite song by him. That made me happy when that song started. Michael also did "Whoop There It Is" and "Doing The Butt" which was funny to hear. When he did "Doin' The Butt" he let people on stage. The whole show was good and it was really really worth the 21 hour dive there and back.
After the show I went and sold Mechandise. After it died down I got my picture taken with him and got his autograph. Before he signed my flyer I asked him if he knew how long it took me to get there. He thought it was 3 1/2 hours and I told him it took me 21 hours to get there. He was real amazed about that. He signed my flyer "Oh My God-You Win! longest drive-Michael. Because I went that far some guy that works for Michael gave me a free t-shirt. I had Michael sign that for me too. On the shirt he wrote "Jennifer All Love-Michael. Before I left I got a hug from Michael. Did you think I'd go that far without getting a hug? No I wouldn't.
I had so much fun at thie show. I;m glad that I made the trip down there. I would only do that for Michael. I got Michael a little stuffed cow that had a little heart on it that said HUG ME on it. I thought it was cute so I got it for him. It was buy one get one free so I got one for me. I named her Roxy since that's were I saw Michael play at. I know it was kind of corny...LOL
The trip home was a little more annoying. I was suppose to leave Atlanta at 7pm but that bus was full so I had to wait for another bus which didn't get there until around 9. I was so mad about that. I slept from Atlanta to Cinnitti and when we got to Cinnitti I had to wait an hour to trasfer to a bus that would bring me back home. That bus driver put some movies on so I watch them. I got home around 8pm last night. I watched a half hour of Seventh Heaven and fell asleep. I guess not getting much sleep the whole weekend and being in my own bed made me very sleepy.
Like I said before seeing Michael was worth it and I would do it again for him in a heartbeat. Next time I think I'm going to fly thought.
