Amazing night
I don't even know where to start. Scott did an awesome job putting this together. All ten of the bands are very talented and I'm glad I got to see them.
The Corrections started the night out. They only did five songs. It's okay...better then nothing I guess. They did "Use" which is an Original Skin song. I like what they have done with it. They also did a song called "Jennifer She Said". I think I like that song because it has my name in it...LOL
The Fated Grey was up next. They did a real good job. I really don't know any of their music. I only seen them once before. I think they are real talented and have a great future ahead of themselves.
Andy Mac did an acoustic set. I really like his solo music. I wish he would do some solo shows. During his set he said he was moving to NYC. That's good that he is moving there but I'll miss him.
28 N is an awesome band from NYC. They did a show here with Scott a few weeks ago that I went to. I liked them ever since then. I was so excited that I was going to be able to see them again. They did an awesome job. I even knew some of the music because I got a CD last time they were here and I have been listening to it alot. My drumstick collection is complete again. Lowell gave me a drumstick when I asked for one....he gave me three but I gave the other two to my friends. Now I have a drumstick from every band I like. I'll make it to NYC one of these days to see you guys again. It might be until after Christmas thought.
Humphrey is really good. They use to be Grand National before they broke up. Now they are back but with a different singer...that's because David is now with Last Consertative. The new lead singer is Alex. He is from Any December. I'm glad they are back. They sound real good. They did an acoustic set so I can't wait to see a full show by them. I know it will sound even better.
I like it when Scott plays with his whole band better. It's more fun because the music is more upbeat. Hilary and I were standing in front of Jay (the guitar player) and he kept coming right in front of us and making weird faces at us. It was fun and scary at the same time. I couldn't help but laugh. It was funny. Scott did all my favorite songs by him which are "Saturday", "Delhi" and "Smile While Your Crying".
Jennifer Marie did an awesome job. I was excited to see her because it has been two years since I seen her last. It was at The Tralf and she did a show with More Than Me. She did all new songs which are sounding great. I can't wait for her new CD to come out. I think it's coming out soon.
I like More Than Me's new stuff. They sound better and better everytime I see them. They will be doing a show with The Corrections on November 6th. I can't wait for that show. It'll be fun.
This is my first time seeing A Bitter Fashoin. They sound good. They did an acoustic set so I think I might have to go and see a whole show by them. It'll be interesting to see what they really sound like.
Agent Me did an awesome job. They always do. They did "Idolize" which they barely do live so that was a specail treat for me. Before they did "Invincble" Ryan said that they will be recording "Invincble". I'm happy about that because I love that song. :-) Before they did "End Of The World" Jim took a sip of Ryan's water and Ryan got mad so I got Jim his own water and gave it to him in between songs. He drunk so it when he realized it was there. They ended the show with "Rough Shaft" like they always do. I love that song. It's fun to watch them play that song because they go nuts on stage.
It was a great night full of great music. I think Scott is the only one that could get that much talent all in one night. You did a great job with the show Scott and I'm glad that it was so successful. I'm glad that I was able to help out.
Favorite Band Stage Moments:
When I talked to Jennifer Marie and she rembered who I was. I got her to sign my CD booklet.
When I got 28 N to sign my backstage pass (If I bugged you guys to much I'm sorry)
Getting to see The Corrections before they went on and getting them to sign my picture of them that I stole from The Buffalo News Website.
Just being able to hang out with my friends backstage.
That's all I can think of right now. If I think of anymore I'll add it.
